Today had an absolute BLAST hanging out with my Mom and sis. Marketing is so easy and fun when you are enjoying yourself.
My strategy today was placing print advertisements in select mags and reading material. I received my latest order from vista print and now I have a brand new rocking advertising magnet on the back of my car.
Stay focused, we are attracting amazing business partners who are eager determined and self motivated!

Wow, what a day! A ton of leads came in via various magazines and newspaper ads that I have placed – one in particular, months ago! That is really the value of print advertising and that is it’s longevity. Magazines stay in Doctor’s offices for months, and that means your advertising just keeps on going – so that is very exciting!
Today I continued to expand that advertising into the next few weeks in order to secure it over the Thanksgiving holiday, when no doubt, tons of folks will be checking out business opportunities in their down time. Speaking of that, this time of year is absolutely stellar for generating massive sales. It’s a little know fact that when people are spending money for Christmas and the holidays, they spend money easier and faster than they might at any other time of the year. I believe they are responding to the hope and good cheer of the season.
So PLACE THOSE ADS – and do not slow your business down at all during the next couple of months. Remember your goals and walk constantly toward them!

It is the weekend so I am going to kill 2 birds (days) with one stone (post).
You know, what comes up for me this weekend is giving myself permission to have fun and enjoy some downtime. When you work from home there is a real tendency to feel that you should be doing something “productive” and income producing 24/7. Now the problem here is that the whole point of working from home means that you are having fun, enjoying your family and your life! So, that is also the reason for my “double day post”.
We spoke last week of the importance of To Do Lists, and this week I want to focus on the importance of an advertising strategy. I will be keeping you up to date with my plans for warm marketing, internet campaigns and various other methods of promotion.

Hi everyone! Today was incredibly productive. After attending a Google tele-seminar last night I was able to arrange for some website changes and also some ad/keyword changes.
One thing that comes to my mind in regard to staying focused on your business objectives is to continually educate yourself about as many forms of advertising as you can. This will really assist you to develop a better understanding of your marketplace and niche.
Now, this training may take time out of your day, but it is well worth the time and effort you put toward it!

Ok, my bad……I wrote my post in my journal and forgot to transfer it before bed last night! So here is day 8:
Today I have a lot on my plate, so it is all about time management. When you are in business for yourself, time is money! I keep my focus on track by making a To Do List. That sounds so simple doesn’t it? But really it takes persistance. I keep a small journal and I actually strike off each task as I complete it. That definitely serves 2 purposes. #1 I get my daily “chores” done. #2 I feel a real sense of accomplishment at the end of the day!
The tips here would be to purchase a journal small enough to carry with you and the second tip would be to USE IT! LOL
Today I hosted an “Out Of The Box” Marketing call and it got me completely stoked to kick my own marketing up into high gear. I ordered a new car magnet from www.vistaprint.com, as well as a ton of opportunity postcards. I advise utilizing all aspects of marketing to promote your business. Make marketing a “life style” and leave a trail of advertising in your wake. Pens, cards, flyer, bookmarks…..whatever floats your boat.
While I am continually committed to my pay-per-click campaign advertising, I totally love free online advertising and online newspapers, as well as niche website ad placement. It is all good – do what feels right!

Welcome to day 6!
As I continue this incredible journey I want to review some basic home business success strategies developed by top income earners that I have trained with over the years. Now, these are techniques you can use in your own business to get clear and get results! There are 5 daily activities that must be done every day in order to gain that momentum and clarity.
1. Meditate and visualize your goals every day. Even if it is just for a few minutes, even if you are more comfortable referring to it as “daydreaming”, this is a must! As I mentioned in a previous post, it is vital that you have a target to hit. Remember “Aim for the moon and even if you miss you hit the stars!”
2. Mastermind with leaders every day. Now in my business, Polaris Media Group, we get an incredible opportunity to mastermind every single day in our training and wake up calls. If you are in a home business that does not have this structure, then take control and start YOUR OWN! You and your team members will be positively empowered by this exchange even if it is just 10 minutes a day.
3. Do the Income Producing activities every day. If you are in sales, as most of us home business entrepreneurs are, then you must talk to folks in order to even create the possibility of a sale…..correct? So make sure that you are speaking with potential customers every single day. You may choose to purchase leads, tap into your warm market or place independent ads, but DO SOMETHING! This step is vital in your wealth creation process.
4. Engage in Personal Development. Now for me, this is my business, it is my field of interest so it is completely congruent and natural for me to do this type of activity on a daily basis. But…..make note: this type of self-improvement work is vital to you becoming the powerful leader that is hiding inside of you. By taking the time to read empowering material and internalize it and journal about your own thoughts, you are creating a more focused and directed entrepeneur. Hello. It is the end of day 5 on my 365 day journey to my goal of 1 million dollars.
Today was a great day. I spent time with the family, had a blast! Spent some time with our daughter taking down some wallpaper…..not my favorite thing to do but with her (listening to a Taylor Swift CD) we made it fun. And I am very motivated to get that room in great condition so it will be our office area in the house. The room has great energy and gets a lot of light and I am thrilled that I will be able to have the run of the 1st floor with convenience and ease.
I spent some more time today adjusting and tweaking my Google campaign and I must say, I am really excited for a training call I will be tuning into this week about just that! Also, I myself will be hosting a Training Call on Tuesday evening so I will spend some of tomorrow preparing my notes for that……can’t wait!
I did the math today and I am looking at assisting 6-7 people per month to get started and have success with our business to reach my goal. A few things stand out for me. I am looking at consistency in my daily activities combined with partnering up with absolute ACES! Together, I am thinking that I will be able to assist a few of those folks to reach a million as well, since that is really how the payplan works out.
So, now off to bed. Tomorrow I embark on Day 6, excited to have a week of focus and teamwork!
Welcome today 4 on my 365 day journey to 1 million dollars. Today I got some terrific leads but will call them back tomorrow because it is Saturday and I prefer to work on Sunday. So I started the day by taking back control! I went to weigh in at WW and stayed for the meeting. Now last week I did not weigh in, and I found that I really can tend to easily spiral out of control when I blow off the weigh in. It really is essential to keeping on track and focused with my eating, so I was really happy to see that I was only up .02….basically the same number on the scale though. I left WW feeling really very much back in control of my life and did the grocery shopping, making sure to purchase the foods that make it easy for me to stay within my daily points. Then we took the kids to 6 Flags amusement park for the very last day of the season. It was gorgeous here in St. Louis and we had an absolute blast! Our 21-year-old met us there which is just so cool, because she really has other things she could be doing and the fact that she chose to come out and be with us for a few hours is just amazing.
So I end today so very grateful for this wonderful life. In awe of the beauty and perfection of family love.

Happy Friday. Day 3 has come and gone and today I created business cards to attach to the “Join The Evolution” DVD’s I have ordered from corporate. I intend to stick these cards on the DVD’s and give them out, leave them on car windows at personal development type events and so on. My google campaign is getting stronger, but the conversions are not yet where I desire them to be….so I will continue my dilligence and self education! I fully expect to have 2 new Aces come on board by Monday!
